At first I was a little uneasy about this project, but I am starting to settle and get used to it now that I have my project planned out. I am a week into the Purpose Project, and I believe I have a substantial base to start researching and building the media platforms soon. After receiving feedback on my project idea last week, I was advised to make a database of issues that I could incorporate into this potential website, which I did. I decided on using the issues of human trafficking, incarceration rates, and possibly another one which I still need to look in to. This puts me in a place where I have to figure out the possible website design and Twitter account, and also starting research on the issues. I am beginning to look at statistics and how I can present these issues through social media to draw people in. Moving forward this next week, I will focus on gathering information and creating the basis and design of the media. Overall, this is a good point to be at for Week 2 in that I have a pretty much finalized project and a solid place to start researching.
